Last night I decided to do something with my blue wall. Something was missing. And I started to draw something on paper. The result is this, a graphic design in a new fresh color. Im thinking to do some more with grey. What do you think?

Hello! And I hope you had a great evening yesterday. Welcome 2014!
Yesterday I got inspired of Josefin that use this for simple Christmas decoration. But I was thinking; what can I do more with it…? Aha, lets make a lamp. It is so easy! So, I made this simple lamp of straws, and I painted it black after. The result is lovely. Cool. Minimalistic. Easy. Clean.
The only thing you need is 12 straws, scissors and a type of string. You can find the recipe here.

The music is on, the smell of christmas and the Christmas feeling is coming to me. This year, everything is very simple, since we not gonna spend this christmas home. But we’ve got the Christmas tree that is crooked as hell – but it is only part of the charm!
MY creativity will spin and I’ll wrap Christmas gifts tonight.

I was at the store “Rost” yesterday where I found a supernice magazine holder cost about 600, – wich I thought was too expensive for such a “simple” design – so I went directly to Panduro Hobby and bought a leather strap in brown. I had the other things at home – so for 80, norwegian money- I got about the same magazineholder. It was fun and easy to make it. (The one at the store had colored balls, but I enjoy that mine was in nature) But if you want some color on it, it’s just to spray them in the color you want.
Yesterday I was at the flea market and found the coolest lamp. I sanded it down and sprayed it gray. Perfect as a bedside lamp and a super easy DIY.

I have received many questions where the boxes on my wall are from. They are from Bloomingville and originally three, that I have painted in the colors I like.
The wonderful thing about these boxes is that you can just paint them again and again if you change the interior otherwise. I run to find new space for these a day and then it’s actually a theme to paint those too.
Have a great Thursday!
